Tom Lukiwski MP Opens Kenaston Branch Office

May 16, 2016

Tom Lukiwski, Member of Parliament for Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan today announced the launch of his new constituency branch office in Kenaston.

“The recent electoral boundary changes created some massive constituencies here in rural Saskatchewan. Our feeling from the outset was that we would need to invest more resources into serving a constituency of this size. We are pleased to follow through on this promise we made last fall,” Lukiwski said.

The Moose Jaw office and its staff will continue to handle the majority of constituent enquires through email and toll-free phone lines but the Kenaston office helps to add more personal contact with constituents, Lukiwski said.

“There are many times when someone has a problem and they just feel more comfortable talking to someone face-to-face about it. We are pleased to provide this additional service for constituents in the northern end of the riding.”

Lukiwski said he looks forward to getting to know Kenaston and surrounding communities better.

“Of course, almost everyone in Saskatchewan knows about Kenaston’s Superdraft hockey pool! But it’s also a thriving community that has been a meeting place for north central Saskatchewan for many years. I look forward to learning the stories and concerns of the people who live here.”

The Kenaston office will be open on Tuesdays and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Its street address is 309 Central Avenue. Local mail for Tom can be sent to Box 56, Kenaston, SK S0G 2N0 (no postage is required when mailing your MP.) The Kenaston office can be reached by phone at 306-252-2626. Constituents can also continue to contact the Moose Jaw office Monday-Friday at 1-866-691-3577.
